The beauty and wildness of the landscape in the Crişului Repede Gorge, the wealth of rare thermophilic floristic elements, as well as the presence of the Vadu Crişului Cave made this region a natural reserve.
The charm of the whole area is given by the rocky cliffs, the karst relief with the appearance of a key carved in calcareous rocks (Mișidului Gorges), the numerous caves (Wind Cave, Moanei Cave, Batrânului Cave, Unguru Mare Cave, Vadu Crișului Cave) and of course we don’t overlook the wonderful Cascade from Vadu Crișului.
